Financial performance analysis is a vital tool used to evaluate the efficiency, profitability, and financial stability of a business organization. It helps in understanding how effectively a company utilizes its resources to generate revenue and sustain growth. This study focuses on analyzing the financial performance of Pothys Private Limited, a leading textile retail company in India.
The study is based on secondary data collected from financial statements and other relevant sources for a period of five years from 2020–21 to 2024–25. A descriptive research design has been adopted, and comparative analysis is used as the primary tool for evaluating financial trends. The study examines key financial indicators such as revenue, net profit, and liquidity position.
The findings of the study reveal that the company has maintained consistent growth in revenue and profitability over the years, along with a stable liquidity position. However, minor fluctuations are observed due to variations in operational costs. The study concludes that effective financial management practices contribute significantly to the overall performance and long-term sustainability of the company.
